Hello Monday: Mother's Day

Hello again. Here we are Monday! Sitting at the Drs office waiting to do lab work and thinking of how fast the weekend came and went. 

Kinsley had a bit of a bug Thursday and Friday so those days were spent cuddling up with my girl and watching Mickey Mouse club house on repeat. Aaron has been in Las Vegas for nearly a month now and it was looking like he wasn't going to be home until today  so Saturday I picked up Landon for our target run of diapers and wipes and everything else I managed to squeeze into my cart  and let him  play with the neighbor kids  for the rest of the afternoon while Kinsley napped.  

I called Aaron  at around 7:30 pm to say good night to Kinsley and he said he was driving from work and that he would call me after he ate and showered  an hour passed by and I thought maybe he fell asleep so I texted him and then a notification popped up on my phone from Facebook that he tagged me in a cute post telling me happy Mother's Day and it said he was in town. My first thought was that he just checked himself in so that people wouldn't think I was home alone on Facebook but then.. I thought about how could he do that from Vegas and I texted him " are you home " and then ..... 

I heard the garage door open! I jumped up and ran and gave him the biggest hug! He said he wanted to surprise me for Mother's Day and I def was. 

 

Sunday was spent with breakfast and this diva insisting on wearing ALL of the necklaces then we headed out so hubby could get a hair cut and took my grandma her present and had lunch with the bestie. Then we had to get him new work boots and do a Costco run and it was home to relax and bbq. 

The best Bree grilled cheese on earth . 

Now it's 7:25 on Monday morning and my allergies are killing me already and I'm still waiting to do my labs. Listing to this lady talk on her cell phone to someone in oaklahoma for an hour and I'm sure the whole waiting room is as happy with her as Iam.

Hello Monday

Hello again from lets throw all our breakfast on the floor toddler land ... Only one more sleep untill we are off to the happiest place on earth and there's so much to do. Kinsley is mostly packed but there's everything else  that needs to be done so let's get to it shall we...

Friday was spent waiting all day for the plumbers and the carpet cleaners to come and naturally someone wouldn't take a nap while we waited so we played with out new kilp Klop stables thanks to  our sweet friends and Kinsley thought she could ride it like a horse too.  Once the work was done on the rental house we packed our stuff and headed to the ups store and of course she fell asleep right when I pulled out of the driveway so we wandered throu Ross and target and the headed home to walk all over wet carpets. 

Saturday Aaron had to work so we spent the morning doing last minute shopping and then had lunch at Chevys  

Later that night we met up with my cousins who were down from Utah and had dinner it was so great to catch up with them. The next morning we went to do our grocery shopping and took a nap while football was on then took a drive to the Ethel's chocolate factory and cactus gardens I was wishing Landon was there to see the chocolate factory I know he would have loved it 

After that we headed to the Las Vegas Speedway to check out the Christmas lights it was so pretty and so much fun The perfect Way to get in the Christmas  Spirit Kinsley love seeing all the pretty lights. 

And here we are Monday with lots of packing to do for our trip to see Mickey Mouse it will either go so perfect and Kinsley will love it or she she be a complete monster ... Lol

Hello Monday

Were back again and it has been such a hot weekend  Friday started with going to the gym day two of working out and Kinsley was not having it she only let me workout for about 25 minutes and then we went to run some errands you know the fun stuff and played with kins on her four wheeler

Saturday we spent the day by the pool thank God cuz it was a hot one. There was reason to celebrate with hot dogs sliders & root beer floats for a special girls 21st birthday 

It's always a good time hanging out with our friends on hot summer days and of course Malibu & pineapple drinks & fireball shots were involved. It was also my little Rosie's last weekend before heading off to college.

Sunday was of course spent at church and then with hubby's family and a new friend called fireball migraine.

So hello Monday , our first full week with Landon back in school all day and hopefully some uninterrupted workouts from Kinsley in the gym daycare  and maybe just maybe a target and old navy run because what would a week be like with out a target trip right ...

Hello Monday

Hello loves and hello Monday ... 

This weekend came and went faster than you could say t.g.i.f!  Friday started out with running a few errands for the loan company because we are trying to move to a bigger house ..( Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly ..  ) and then let the kids swim for a little bit 

Saturday started off with hubby getting a hair cut and taking two of my cousins to the movies in Sacramento, while they were there we decided to take Kinsley to the zoo since it was on the same street and the movie was only 90 minutes. why not random family adventures are the best right .. 

I realized this was our first family adventure just the 3 of us and it was such a great day even thou she will not remember her first time there or that she even knows what a red panda is lol it was fun to do something special with her and I can't wait for other trips as a family.

Sunday was a very tiring day Kinsey didn't sleep good and decided at 3:30 am it was time to get up and play after about an hour of trying to get her to sleep I turned on Mickey Mouse and she was out like a light until 8 am, we woke up late for church so Aaron just went with out us because let's face it it only takes a man 5 seconds to get ready and us girls need much more prep time ... So me and Kinsley took our time getting ready while he was at  church then headed up to see her cousins , aunt and grandpa for the day . 

This week school starts up for Landon so I think a few last minute bowling trips are in store before he's off to first grade..

Hello Monday

What a wild weekend that started off with an ice skating party for my neice kylei and it was the perfect way to spend a super hot day 

After a long nap I took my neice ezzie to the mall and target  for a little shopping trip. 

Saturday was spent at the lake with friends and family and a little  cliff jumping ..  I jumped from a smaller more safer jumping spot but I stood there for a good two hours trying to not be a scary cat but I couldn't .. I just couldn't do it .. I tried to carry on the YOLO motto but apperntly something's are just not YOLO status ...

 It was such a beautiful day and we all had fun so it was worth every minute 

Sunday was spent and church and the usual in Citrus Heights but first we had to take our sweet little ezzie back so she can head home to Oregon but Kinsley got to spend some time with her grandma and auntie 

Clearly she was happy about taking pictures .. 

Then we headed over to my father in laws to spend time with the rest of the in laws 

School is starting soon and we are hopefully going into escrow on a house ( fingers crossed all the inspections pass) so things are going to get a little more stressful around here not to mention someone's first birthday is coming up quick (insert tears) hopefully we can fit in a few last minute summer activities before all the madness starts

It's the little things

It's been a while since I have done the little things post and honestly Kinsley hasn't given me much time to blog with everything eles going on in life and her two teeth coming in.. And when I do sit down to blog she climbs all over me or needs a diaper or food ... 

So here it is the little things ...

Last night we had dinner outside and a little trampoline fun before Kinsley's bed time. It's so nice being able to enjoy the nice weather latley it's warm not scorching hot with a little wind and all thou my allergies don't like it it's great to spend these little moments as a family. 

It's so crazy to think about what life was like before our little kinsie. Defiantly not spending our evenings on a trampoline that's for sure.

Hello Monday

What a busy weekend full of birthdays! Friday was Aaron's birthday And it started out with a dentist appointment and of course target.

Aaron took Landon and Kinsley to ride dirtbikes for a little bit while I ran some errands and I know I'm gonna be in trouble when this girl gets older because she loves to ride her little four wheeler

 Later that night and another target trip for a new DVD player we ended up going to dinner at an actual sit down restaurant with friends and baby! We decided to get a table out side because it was so nice outside and let's face it Kinsley could throw all the food she wanted and I wouldn't have anxiety over it .. She did so good and ate everything in site    

The next morning we had to go to Landon's birthday party at chuck e cheese everyone had such a great time and got tons of tickets for prizes. He said it was the best birthday ever I'm so glad he had a great time. 

That night ended with a workout up a huge hill and few LOST  episodes on Netflix. 

The next day was a regular Sunday for us  filled with church bright and early and then a trip to see Aaron's family and BBQ it was so weird not seeing grandma but it was nice to visit with family. 

The night ended with leftovers and more netflix. Now to pay bills and go grocery shopping .. You know the fun stuff
