Its the little things

When I was pregnate and we found out we were having a girl I was so excited and would often daydream about all the fun we could have together mani  & pedi's, tutus & tea parties and even thou all that stuff is just starting I never imagined the heart melting love & joy having a little girl can bring.  The everyday little things she is learning and doing that just completely melt my heart into a big pile of goo.

Latley Kinsley has been loving  on her babies and stuffed animals giving them kisses and loves and just the way she holds them, she's not even one and has so much love in her little heart. 

It's Knowing that someday this little precious girl who stole my heart will grow up and someday have a baby of her own to melt over. To know another kind of love that's so incredible and amazing. 

I'm so blessed and beyond thankful to God for giving us this girl & answering our prayers.

It's the little things

Right after we came home from camping Monday hubby had to pack right a way for a week a away for work.. Thankfully it's a short week because of the holiday but me and Kinsley are on day two of no "dada" and so far we have messed up our breakfast.. because he always makes the bananas, and done a few loads of laundry but haven't put it away yet .. Because He always folds it for me ..  I was going to sweep the kitchen but can't find the broom because he hid it .. So I just swiffered it.. 

It's the little things in life like having an amazing husband who helps you around the house after a long day at work and getting up at 2 in the morning to help change diapers and make bottles. Even though he can be a pain in the butt sometimes I am so lucky to have him and know Kinsley has an amazing father. Hopefully Saturday comes soon and we can keep ourselves busy untill then.

The little things :

With Landon now in first grade he no longer gets out at noon and it has definitely made the house much quieter with out him. I can tell Kinsley misses him and she gets so excited when we pick him up from school and now gets upset when he goes home.

But even though we miss our Landon it has given us time to have fun just kinsie & momma. I love spending time with my girl and can't wait for all sorts of fun we can get ourselves into. 

There has been gym time ( which she doesn't approve of) and walks at the park    & an attempted trip to the library for story time (that was cancelled hopefully we can make the Friday one. ) and maybe some busy bee workshop in a couple weeks. 

I just love this girl to pieces and her loving  silly stubborn personality. I'm so thankful I'm able to stay at home with her and not miss a second of her growing up.

It's the little things

Landon is starting school tomorrow  So I thought it would be fun to take him for some last minute fun before he goes into first grade! 

First stop the nut tree shopping center where they have a fun area for kids with train and carousel rides. This was Kinsley's first time there so we was having a blast and loved the train 

 Next stop was some Fro yo and of course Landon piled his up with all kinds of chocolate and only ate about 3 bites .. then wanted wends as soon as we stepped outside...

And Kinsley ate strawberry's from my bowl and loved then she's getting really good at eating bigger chunks of food 

After that I had to go by the loan company to sign a paper and it was nap time for little kins. Earlier this summer I signed Landon up for kids bowl free  where he gets 2 free games of bowling free all summer long so we decided to go one last time and he suckered me into some video games while we were there 

I'm so lucky I get to be apart of this little boys life and that I have been blessed with the opportunity to stay home and take care of him and now Kinsley!  Tomorrow starts a new journey for him as a first grader and being there all day like a big kid and I don't know what me and Kinsley will do to occupy our time with out him. 

You are so special to me Landon and I love you so much! Thank you for being the bestest boy and letting me be your itty.

The little things

Some days just don't  go as smoothly as you like .. The days where it's hard to even get a shower because Kinsley screams every time I set her down or when I finally get her to nap and Landon wakes her up 2 minutes later or they toys thrown all over the house from two kids.. Mix that all together and throw in a migraine and you got a wonderful day ... 

But there are these little moments of cuddles and smiles that make you melt.. 

And moments of absolute cuteness that you just can't contain your heart ...

And of corse the kisses and " I love you's" that make the crazy days worth it all 

It's the little things

It's been a while since I have done the little things post and honestly Kinsley hasn't given me much time to blog with everything eles going on in life and her two teeth coming in.. And when I do sit down to blog she climbs all over me or needs a diaper or food ... 

So here it is the little things ...

Last night we had dinner outside and a little trampoline fun before Kinsley's bed time. It's so nice being able to enjoy the nice weather latley it's warm not scorching hot with a little wind and all thou my allergies don't like it it's great to spend these little moments as a family. 

It's so crazy to think about what life was like before our little kinsie. Defiantly not spending our evenings on a trampoline that's for sure.

It's the little things : summer break

This is the first official first week off school and summer break has begun! I don't know if it's because I don't have to have such a set schedule of trying to get things done and Kinsley ready for the day then pick up Landon then clean etc etc.. Or the fact that they both are getting older and things are just getting easier .. 

For the past three days I have been able to actually fit in a workout, clean the house, and .... Take a shower with out a screaming baby. I have been putting Kinsley in her jumperoo and having Landon keep her occupied long enough to shower but still not long enough to apply self tanner .. (Pick and choose your time wisely Shannon!) 

Along with summer brake also comes trying to keep a 6 year old busy and keep me from pulling my hair out so...

Have play dates ... 

Kinsley is really starting to have play time and have fun it's so cute to watch her interact with Landon and others and to see her playing with her toys jabbering to herself and trying to talk ...  She wants to be doing whatever Landon is and follows him all over the house .

It's the little things like being able to have a big backyard to play and splash around in with these two cuties. 

It's so hot this week and it's only going to get hotter around here once summer actually arrives, as hot as it gets I'm thankful we don't have to deal with humidity. Perfect weather for cute sundresses and hats. 

I can't wait to do all sorts of fun stuff this summer like camping and going to the beach  and experiencing all these things with Kinsley.
