Loving Lately

Its been a couple months since i have done a monthly faves post so i thought i would put together a little something of what I've been loving lately.  There isn't much because i honestly haven been buying makeup and kins has pretty much been hooked on paw patrol for the last few months...

August faves

August is finally over ( and I'm half way throu September) and although it's California and it's still hot I'm so excited for fall and everything coming up in the next few months.

Kinsley has finally been wearing headbands and only if it has a big sparkly bow  and I tell her she looks like Minnie Mouse. But how cute does that bow look on her! I will tell her what ever she wants to hear as long as she will wear it . 

She has also been loving her clubhouse friends and they go EVERYWHERE with us ... Even to bed . 

I don't have too many faves this month I haven't been painting my nails enough to have any fave althou Iam loving getting them done with gel at the salon .. And am in much need of some again. 

I have a lot of stuff going on in the next couple months Kinsley's 2nd birthday party, Halloween and everything else in between And I'm beyond excited for it all! good bye summer! Bring on the fall I'm so ready for it!

Home sweet home

Hello loves from cloudy and cold California! Friday night we packed up the car and drove home!  Saturday was spent unpacking and going through toys and clothes and everything else in between, and visiting with family and a visit from my bestie 

Sunday was pretty much the same with a target trip and these little stinkers tagging up my house. Aaron had to fly back to finish the job up there and I miss him terribly already. 

This week will full of settling in and getting organized but it feels so good to be home .

Hello Monday

The Hello loves what a wild weekend we had! Friday started off with packing for our weekend trip to the grand caynon and heading out as soon as Aaron  got home from work. Kinsley did surprisingly well for the almost two hour drive thankfully! We got settled into the hotel and had some dinner at Cracker Barrel and hit the sack for our fun filled day Saturday. 

We visited the west rim and the sky walk at the grand caynon and it was so much fun. I however am afraid of heights so my anxiety was in full force  but it was an amazing day and being able to see God's beautiful handy work up close like what truly an experience I'll never forget. 

Sunday was spent driving back, naps, motocross, and 99 cent margaritas at the fiesta casino. 

 It's about to be a crazy week of packing for California because our life here in Henderson is coming to an end  I will miss a few things and I'm thankful the the opportunity to have been able to pick up and come out here with Aaron for his work and to see new places and make memories ...  But I miss my house , my friends, my crazy family , and even my bitchy ass cat.  Hope you all had a great weekend!

Kinsley Elizabeth 16 month update

16 months! I can't believe how much my little diva has grown in just a short few months since turning one. 

For the most part she is a great eater and  at times a little picky she will go on a Cheerios phase and then get tired of them as with other snacks/foods and is still not much of a meat eater but is trying them. She loves pasta of any kind and yogurt.  She is all about feeding herself these days and is doing pretty good with a spoon and fork ..She now has 14 teeth with the 15th just barely poking through.  

Her hair is growing a mile a minute and is getting harder to keep out of her face with her pulling her clips out when she notices them and has gotten better with keeping her head bands on for longer periods of time before ripping them off and throwing them. 

Kinsie girl loves her bracelets & necklaces! we have bracelets all over the house at all times and piled high to her elbows. Her dolly and shopping cart are always with in arms reach she has even tried to take her shopping cart to bed with her.  she loves playing with lego's. She is the perfect mix of me and Aaron. Where ever there's rocks or dirt she's there playing digging in the dirt. 

She has been getting better at trying to communicate and will come up to me and say "mama dhdejeidhxb" lol like she trying to tell me something. 

Some new words she has been saying is 

"No" 

The s sound for "yes" 

"Where's"

"There's"

"This"

"That"

"Juice"

She loves to play and laugh and cuddle and is the sweetest girl. She loves being outside and esp in water she is a little mermaid and loves bath time I will definitely need to get her some swim lessons before summer.

This little beauty has been such a blessing in more ways than one she brightens our life with her pretty smiles and I thank God every day for giving me the job as her mama and being able to watch her grow and learn everyday.

Valentines box of loves

Valentine's Day will forever hold a special place in my heart and be one of my favorite holidays not just for obvious reasons but because it was the day We found out I was pregnant with Kinsley . Growing up I remember my mom sending us Valentine's cards in the mail weather she actually sent them or just stuck them in the mail and made us think the mail came for us I want to be able to make those special memories with my little love bug for her to remember and cherish.... So  I was sending my nephews and niece s little box of loves and thought dog course I had to make one for Kinsley. 

 I got almost everything from target and their dollar section and had tons of fun decorating each box with their names and stickers.. I added a movie and Valentine's cups filled with Hershey's kisses to their boxes and stuck with little things for Kinsley and cute Valentine's hair clips ( and have been getting the out of her box all month to wear .. )

Hello Monday .

Hello loves and hello to another Monday and a new month. we had a great weekend over here and am looking forward to this new month with lots of fun stuff planned and it's getting closer to March. 

Friday was a rainy day and kinsie & I had a ton to do so we headed out to the stores to spend our old navy bucks and gap cash (online) and to load up on supplies for the Super Bowl. The boys came home a few hours early from work due to rain so we headed out to the buffet at one of the casinos and they could place their bets for the big game and the rest of the night was pretty low key.

Saturday morning Kinsley woke up before the sun so we let her daddy sleep in a little then we headed out to this get little cafe baby stacks and had a delish breakfast 

Then headed out to the valley of fire...

On the way home we got some late lunch stake and lobster for $9.99!!!I'll take two please!

Sunday was full of food and football like everyone else in the world and no nap Kinsley was in full force bed time could not come soon enough.. 

Hope you all had a great weekend!  Hubby is going to ride dirt bikes this weekend so me and kins will have a girls day with a few secret Valentine's Day things planned.
