Kinsley Elizabeth : 22

In two months my little baby will be 2!! That's right T-W-O! I can't believe it I feel like I just had her first birthday and now I'm getting ready for her second 

This girl loves to make you laugh and is a big ball of cuddles and giggles. She loves playing out side and her new favorite thing is hoarding all her stuff. When she's outside she has no more than 5 chalks in her hand at all times even while swinging. And does not like the fact that I won't let her bring them in the house anymore  because she loves to chalk up the whole house. but she has now learned to leave them at the door.  Any time we go anywhere whether to target or to bed she has to bring all of her friends with her, that's right the whole darn Mickey Mouse Clubhouse comes along for the ride.

This girl is learning more and more everyday and it's so fun to watch. She just learn to jump and started hopping all around the house saying "hop hop hop"  she loves to try to scare you and says "ahhh booooo" but let me tell us this sweet girl can have the biggest sassafras And judgey eye I have ever seen. 

Kinsley has become such a picky eater and it drives me nuts she survives off yogurt pouches, Mac and cheese , rice, corn, and apple juice with the occasional chicken nuggets. She will try somethings but if she doesn't like it diva will insist on her Mac and cheese ..

Kins is starting to say more words and sometimes will say things and I'm like whhhhat you just said that! But then she won't ever say it again and other times she will say a word and run with it for weeks. Some new words in rotation right now are

She loves animal sounds for dog she pants like a dog  and screams for a shark  the bees and snakes sound the same with a "shhhhhhh" 

Kinsley is a total shoe lover and when I say lover I mean girl is obsessed and wanting to sleep in her shoes! She loves to pick them out every day before we leave the house. she loves all shoes but she does have her faves and changes her shoes multiple times a day 

I fall more in love with her every day and I didn't think that was possible. She defiantly worth pushes my buttons at times with these terrible twos. But then she will give the sweetest smooches or make me laugh and I just melt!  the next time i make this update it will be for two years and i need to buy some stock in tissue cuz I'm gonna be a big ball of tears and a hot slobbery mess. 

Happy 22 months pretty girl please stay little. mama loves you!

What I'm loving lately

I have been a total slacker on my monthly faves and my whole blog to be honest it has been a crazy summer so far with trips to the lake , park, & playing in the backyard. But there is a bunch of stuff I have been loving and I have tried writing this list 50 times already so here we go ...

I just  got this it cosmetics cc+ cream and I'm loving it it's perfect for the summer it's a full coverage but feels so light on the skin. 

Kinsie girl has been having me read her these two books over and over and over.

This girl in sunnies melts my heart 

These bloomers and suspenders are so adorable and I have been loving the school girl bows from free babes. They are so cute in her hair.

 

Kins has been all about shoes lately even more than she was before. She changes her shoes multiple times a day  and when I opened this box of vans Minnie Mouse shoes she freaked!  She was so happy and wears them all the time. 

I got this bliss micro magic microdermabrasion treatment from a popsugar must have box and have been obsessed! 

I'm sure there's way more that I'm leaving out but kins is asleep after a day with no naps and if I don't push post now let's face it I prob never will

Kinsley Elizabeth : 20 months

Is it just me or is this year literally flying by! I feel like we just celebrated her first birthday last week and now in 4 short months she will be 2!!! 

Kinsley is growing so fast and getting better with her words she now says:

She is really starting to try to put sentences and words together and communicate a little better she says yeah when she wants something and shakes her head no when she doesn't. 

This girl! Her personality is halarious and loves to laugh and make others laugh.  She loves to look in the mirror and make funny faces at herself and everything gets a hand clap has to wave hello to EVERYTHING! 

Her new favorite things to do is count everything and says two two two two while she counts and wants you to count with her. She loves to color and chalk on everything and everywhere and of course now that summer is here play in the water. She loves being outside. 

Kinsley has started to really eat with a spoon and fork and perfecting quite well. We have officially gotten rid of the bottles and are on day three with out one.  She loves rice and pasta and is starting to like chicken. 

Kinsley has a love for flamingos and I mean a deep love every time she sees one she has to love and kiss it. She also loves shoes! Everyday I say "let's get your shoes on" and she runs to her room to pick some out of her basket and usually picks two of the same color. 

She also loves to wear her mamas shoes 

Kinsley has also figured out how to open my nail polish drawer and throws them all over the house. 

Everyday with her is such a blessing  watching her grow and learn and laugh. So thankful to be her mama.

May faves

Summer is here schools almost out and all the fun trips are being planned! And I can't believe that Kinsley is almost two!!! I feel like this year just started and we are already half way done with it! 

Here are our may faves. 

I read one of Jessica from LITTLEBABYGARVIN blog post and she had mentioned the DRYBAR triple sec  so I had to try for myself and when sephora was having a vib sale a few moths back I picked it up along with the southern belle volumizing mousse and let me tell you I'm in love with both! I can't wait to try more products from them. 

I have just about run out of perfume and I have been using up the little samples I have and this one from DIORis a definite fave

This OPI infinite shine in "from here to eternity" is a must have for summer. 

My make up hasn't really changed that much this month but I have been using my trusty ole Mac blush in mighty Aphrodite from the wonder woman collection i seriously love this blush in summer. 

Kinsley has been loving her gold FRESHLY PICKED moccs the last few months  she loves picking out her shoes every day and she always grabs these ones when she sees them. 

FREE BABES bows are the cutest thing ever. 

This wet comb I got from a pop sugar must have box had been great for combing Kinsley's hair after bath time as she's running away from me. 

Our new fave sippy cup are these MUNCHKIN 360 spout less  cups that don't  leak! They are like drinking from a big girl cup but no mess!!!! 

Aaron recently redid our back porch and we are loving being out back during this great weather with bubble machines. Madison jar lights, flamingo chairs, radios,sunnies, swings & s'mores We can't wait to spend summer nights out here.

Popsugar must have box : may

This month's must have box has come in the mail and I just love getting these I love that it's a surprise every month and who doesn't love goodies in the mail. Aprils box was kinda ehhh for me there was a cute polka dot umbrella but I'm in California and we are having a serious drought so it's kinda useless to me right now  but May's box has a few things I'm really excited about.

So far I'm loving the necklace and the taffy was delish. Kinsley was using the beach towel as a blanket and I already have the dry shampoo so this mini size is perfect for some tracking we are doing soon. I gave the red vase to my sister because it wasn't really my style and I can't wait to try this shave cream. 

So far this box is pretty good.

Hello Monday: Mother's Day

Hello again. Here we are Monday! Sitting at the Drs office waiting to do lab work and thinking of how fast the weekend came and went. 

Kinsley had a bit of a bug Thursday and Friday so those days were spent cuddling up with my girl and watching Mickey Mouse club house on repeat. Aaron has been in Las Vegas for nearly a month now and it was looking like he wasn't going to be home until today  so Saturday I picked up Landon for our target run of diapers and wipes and everything else I managed to squeeze into my cart  and let him  play with the neighbor kids  for the rest of the afternoon while Kinsley napped.  

I called Aaron  at around 7:30 pm to say good night to Kinsley and he said he was driving from work and that he would call me after he ate and showered  an hour passed by and I thought maybe he fell asleep so I texted him and then a notification popped up on my phone from Facebook that he tagged me in a cute post telling me happy Mother's Day and it said he was in town. My first thought was that he just checked himself in so that people wouldn't think I was home alone on Facebook but then.. I thought about how could he do that from Vegas and I texted him " are you home " and then ..... 

I heard the garage door open! I jumped up and ran and gave him the biggest hug! He said he wanted to surprise me for Mother's Day and I def was. 

 

Sunday was spent with breakfast and this diva insisting on wearing ALL of the necklaces then we headed out so hubby could get a hair cut and took my grandma her present and had lunch with the bestie. Then we had to get him new work boots and do a Costco run and it was home to relax and bbq. 

The best Bree grilled cheese on earth . 

Now it's 7:25 on Monday morning and my allergies are killing me already and I'm still waiting to do my labs. Listing to this lady talk on her cell phone to someone in oaklahoma for an hour and I'm sure the whole waiting room is as happy with her as Iam.

The basics

There are many things in my beauty routine that come and go, things that I am  always trying new like foundation, blush, ect, but there are a handful of things that I always repurchase no matter what ... The things I can't live with out , need to haves, if I'm ever on a deserted island, travel everywhere with me,  The basics as you could call them  

purityl face wash. I don't even know how many bottles of this I have bought over the last few years but it is my go to face wash. I always have a bottle in the shower and These tiny bottles are perfect for traveling with. I also started keeping a package of purity face wipes on my night stand so I can use them before hopping into bed. 

Mac painterly paint pot. About 8 years ago when I really truly got into make up and really learning how to do it I got this and haven't turned back since it's my go to eye primer and as you can see it's very loved. 

Nars Laguna bronzer.  This is my second Laguna bronzer and after my first I tried to use up the ones I had and they were OK but Laguna has my heart. 

These mascaras. Roller girl is my new obsession and I already feel like I can't ever live with out it but they're real has always been a fave. Another one I love is the Rimmel lash Accelerator and Guerlain noir but that is an arm and a leg and just can't purchase a 50$ mascara no matter how much I love it. 

Anatasia brow wiz and dip brow are my new fave go to products for brows  and I have tried so many but these! These are my new go to can't live with out brows. 

A good neutral palette I have a few of course the nakeds  the lorac pro is prob my fave and this beauty from stila . You can never go wrong with a pretty neutral palette.
