Kinsley Elizabeth : 20 months

Is it just me or is this year literally flying by! I feel like we just celebrated her first birthday last week and now in 4 short months she will be 2!!!

Kinsley is growing so fast and getting better with her words she now says:

Choo choo
Hey
Tay-toe ( potatoe)
Two
Say shoe ( thank you)
Cir curl (circle)
Boo
Peas ( please)
All gone
All dirt ( for all dirty)
The car
What's this
What do ( for what are you doing)

She is really starting to try to put sentences and words together and communicate a little better she says yeah when she wants something and shakes her head no when she doesn't.

This girl! Her personality is halarious and loves to laugh and make others laugh.  She loves to look in the mirror and make funny faces at herself and everything gets a hand clap has to wave hello to EVERYTHING!

Her new favorite things to do is count everything and says two two two two while she counts and wants you to count with her. She loves to color and chalk on everything and everywhere and of course now that summer is here play in the water. She loves being outside.

Kinsley has started to really eat with a spoon and fork and perfecting quite well. We have officially gotten rid of the bottles and are on day three with out one.  She loves rice and pasta and is starting to like chicken.

Kinsley has a love for flamingos and I mean a deep love every time she sees one she has to love and kiss it. She also loves shoes! Everyday I say "let's get your shoes on" and she runs to her room to pick some out of her basket and usually picks two of the same color.
She also loves to wear her mamas shoes
Kinsley has also figured out how to open my nail polish drawer and throws them all over the house.

Everyday with her is such a blessing  watching her grow and learn and laugh. So thankful to be her mama.

May faves

Summer is here schools almost out and all the fun trips are being planned! And I can't believe that Kinsley is almost two!!! I feel like this year just started and we are already half way done with it!

Here are our may faves.

I read one of Jessica from LITTLEBABYGARVIN blog post and she had mentioned the DRYBAR triple sec  so I had to try for myself and when sephora was having a vib sale a few moths back I picked it up along with the southern belle volumizing mousse and let me tell you I'm in love with both! I can't wait to try more products from them.

I have just about run out of perfume and I have been using up the little samples I have and this one from DIORis a definite fave

This OPI infinite shine in "from here to eternity" is a must have for summer.

My make up hasn't really changed that much this month but I have been using my trusty ole Mac blush in mighty Aphrodite from the wonder woman collection i seriously love this blush in summer.

Kinsley has been loving her gold FRESHLY PICKED moccs the last few months  she loves picking out her shoes every day and she always grabs these ones when she sees them.

FREE BABES bows are the cutest thing ever.

This wet comb I got from a pop sugar must have box had been great for combing Kinsley's hair after bath time as she's running away from me.

Our new fave sippy cup are these MUNCHKIN 360 spout less  cups that don't  leak! They are like drinking from a big girl cup but no mess!!!!

Aaron recently redid our back porch and we are loving being out back during this great weather with bubble machines. Madison jar lights, flamingo chairs, radios, sunnies, swings & s'mores We can't wait to spend summer nights out here.

Hope you had a great month of may! & a happy June!

Weekends.

Friday started out at the library for some story time and ended with a Landon sleepover and a backyard BBQ for our beautiful friend & neighbor for her birthday we had s'mores & pie and listens to country music and the evening was perfect. Minus this crazy wind what won't go away.

Saturday Aaron's mom and niece and step dad were in town for his nephew graduation  so we hung out in the backyard some more and had a great visit with them and played heads up and laughed until it hurt.

Sunday they left pretty early and we headed out to to look at a camper and visit Aaron's dad and other family and Kinsley had a little water fun and played with her cousin

Hope you all had a great weekend. This week is going to be another crazy one as it's the last week of school. And full of graduations.

I'm so ready for bed

Friday faves

This week has been so jumbled up for me! I thought Wednesday was Friday and ever since then I don't what day it is but here we are it's Friday and I know the weekend will fly by with out a second to even realize it was the weekend.  So here are a few of my faves this week ..

I found these great wire baskets at target and thought they would be perfect for kinsleys room for all her animals and dolls  and they fit so well! I love the copper handles I also got a smaller one for puzzles .

The weather has been so nice the last couple of days after it being windy all week we had dinner out side last night and kins has been enjoying her water table today

Aaron came home Wednesday night  and I'm blaming him for my week being all off he has to head back to Vegas again on Sunday and we are not looking forward to it we love having him home with us.

I finally got a solo trip to the mall yesterday and let me tell you it was amazing not rushing to avoid a toddler melt down and having to push a stroller around the small areas.it was the spring sephora vib sale so i picked up this urban decay sheer lipstick in F-BOMB and it is the perfect I just ate a cherry Popsicle lipstick shade.

Hope you all have a great weekend hopefully we can get in some fun family time before Aaron heads back to work.

Kinsley Elizabeth :18 months

This girl amazes me every day and the fact that is half way to 2 years old blows my mind. Time is just flying by and I just look at her sometimes and think how did I get so lucky to be her mama.

She is her daddy's child, full of energy and doesn't want to stop unless Mickey Mouse is on. Her new favorite activities are "jumping" on the trampoline and coloring and playing with chalk, she would color & chalk every thing if I let her. I recently bought her washable color crayons for the bath tub and she's obsessed with them.  She also has learned to climb! She will climb anything she can the book shelf , the kitchen table, the high chair , the slide in the back yard, chairs, toy boxes, coffee tables, you name it she climbs it.

she has started talking a little more is starting to put words together like  "where's dada" and " mama do do" ( go go)  she has been saying:
Shoes
Toys
Juice
Yes
up
iss (kiss)
she is defiantly learning what no means even though she doesn't like to hear it or pretends she doesn't,and gets the cutest little pouty face when i tell her no to something . she also has been throwing little fits and qualify more for a level 5 melt down, and tried to head bunt me or things when she's mad not hard but she just gets this look on her face that lets you know she means business.

she eats pretty much what ever we eat she loves yogurt and waffles, scrambled eggs, raisins, crackers, dried fruit, popcorn, corn, to name a few. we have been giving her sippy cups and only a bottle at night with water for bed time or if she's drinking milk she refuses to drink that out of a sippy.

Kinsley is still a little petite girl and is in-between a size 4-5 diaper and is starting to fit some 18 month clothes now but her little feet are still tiny. she is such a cuddle bug and loves give loves to mama and dada and her dolly.

It truly amazes me to see her grow from baby to toddler right before my eyes.

Hello Monday

What a crazy weekend we had and I'm so sad it's over but even more excited that Aaron is finally home! Even if it only for a week or so I'm just so happy to have him back and Kinsley has not let him out of her site since she woke up and seen him Saturday morning .

We had a crazy weekend full of bbq's with the bestie and Sunday at Aaron's dads house where we ate way to much pizza and chalked everything in site.

And now it's Monday and easter is coming up faster than I can say little bunny foo foo! We have eggs to fill and a couch to buy before Sunday rolls around again and try to take advantage of every minute we can with our hubbs/dada

Hope you all had a great weekend and happy Monday!

Hello Monday

Hello my loves! hope the weekend treated you well!
Friday was filled with story time at the library and leagues with Landon.
the rest of our weekend was pretty much relaxed with playing in the backyard and a couple target trips for new bathroom stuff.
Hopefully this is the last week until Aaron comes home from Nevada and we couldn't be happier even if it is only for a week and then he has to go back for another two weeks.

hope you all have a great week!
