Loving Lately

Hey girl hey 

I’m here sharing some beauty products I have been loving lately because 1. its been way to long since i have talked about makeup here and 2. they are pretty freakin good ones!

  I had heard some amazing things about this Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara and wanted to see for myself and its so good and I should prob buy a new tube at some point because I have been using nothing but this for a few months now. The fact that its so amazing and its only $5!!! Stop and give them all to me now!  

I also picked up this lipstick from sephora after thanksgiving and cannot with this stuff its so good and lasts all day I wore it on Christmas eve and it lasted all day guys! all freakin day! With eating and drinking all the wine!  Go get this  Fenty Stunna lip Paint its seriously the best "liquid" lipstick I've ever used!

It has been forever since I had painted my nails and I was scrolling instagram ( the main source of all my shopping problems) and came across this polish from   OPI Snow Glad I Met You and had to have it, and it has been on my nails pretty much all month long! It is so pretty and is a shimmery gold frosted light white shade( if that makes sense)  that is seriously so good.

I was in need of some new perfume so I stopped in Marshall's a few months ago and found this pretty  Garden Walk Perfume that smells just like a rose garden! And who doesn't love smelling like roses! I always love checking out Marshall / Tj maxx for perfume because a lot of times you can get such good deals on perfume esp designer ones or try new ones you haven't seen/heard of like this one.

I was out Christmas shopping and seen that Ulta now has Morphie and I couldn't help but  picked up both Jaclyn Hill Palette & Morphie 350 Natural Glow for myself as well! and have been using them non stop. I tend to gravitate towards the Jaclyn pallet a little more and even bought my mom one for Christmas. 

Another thing I had heard amazing things about was this Butter Bronzer buy physicians formula and seriously had the hardest time finding it in the stores because it was sold out like crazy, and actually looked at the rite-aid in Quincy up in the mountains when we were visiting Taylorville a few weeks ago and found it! It is a lot lighter than the Nars laguna that I usually use but I love this! Its so soft and bendable and is the perfect natural bronzer and smells like coconut.   

In my birthday treat from sephora I got this little mini  Tarte Paaaaarty blush  and I forgot how amazing their 12 hour blushes are and need to remember this when it runs out so I can get a full size. 

Also New at Sephora is a brand I absolutely love and that's Colourpop! so of course I had to support one of my fave brands and get something right?! At least that was my excuse. I got the Colourpop highlight trio  and have been loving this Spoon  highlighter so much out of the 3 of the ones I got. Its like the perfect candlelight highlight.

I needed some new moisturizer and got this Clinique prep start  from sephora when I ordered the Fenty lipstick and it has been doing the job. Its a good thick moisturizer and it has really been helping my winter skin hydrate.  Another  thing I picked up with that order is this  Dr. Jart Tiger Grass color correcting treatment  And heard it was amazing from a beauty influencer I have followed for a long time and She swears by it. So I got the smaller $18 jar and it is life changing guys! It evens out my skin tone perfectly and is so good by its self with no foundation! There have been days when I just slapped this on and was out the door with a little blush and mascara. But it also is so good with foundation and brightens and even things out perfectly and is so good for your skin It does a bunch for great stuff to protect from UV rays and there is a whole list of things on the website but ... just take my word for it and try it out!

I had received this little  Makeup forever skin boost in my December sephora beauty box and have been putting a little drop in with my moisturizer and combined with the Tiger grass... These 3 are so good!  It helps illuminate and hydrate skin for that extra boost. 

I had been dying to get some of the Dose of colors collab with Desi X Katy and I picked up the hot fire lipstick and the Desi x Katy mirage highlighter for Black Friday and have been obsessed with both, but this highlighter is so pretty and shimmery it seriously is the most amazing glow for the faced will be freakin amaze balls for the summer with just bronzer!

So much good stuff right! 

I hope you love these products as much as I do, or pick up some of these great things if you don't have them already. If I could only pick two it would defiantly be the Fenty lipstick and the Dr Jart tiger grass!

My fav fall lipstick

One of my favorite things about fall is the changing of colors with the seasons, it's time to out away the hot pinks and bust out the pretty jewel toned colors and one of my favorite ways to do that is playing with pretty colored lipstick ..  Here are a few dark toned lipsticks I always gravitate towards during the fall/winter season. 

Mac rebel : this pretty raspberry lipstick is one of my favorite Mac lipsticks and a must have! It's poring the color in wear the most during this season. 

Mac absolute power: this red lipstick came out in a collection so I'm not sure if it's still around but the color looks much darker than what it swatches in the tube but it's such a great red for the lipstick ESP around the holidays. 

Mac plumbful : this is a great lighter berry colored lipsticks that's much more toned down and great for everyday when you don't want to deal with the hassles of wearing dark lipstick .. ( like trying to get your crazy 11 month old to take a nap and she's smearing that red lipstick all over the place as she's fighting her sleep) 

Urban decay shame: when my  gorgeous cousin posted a picture of her wearing this lipstick on Instagram I had to run out as fast as I could and get it! It's that pretty in fact I loved this lipstick so much I bought 3 other colors that's how much I love the revolution lipstick line and most likely will end up with more soon! Lol  shame and rebel are a little similar but shame is a little darker and just amazing and smooth and such a soft feel on the lips. 

Sephora strawberry kissed lip stain  : I have talked about this beauty before and yell at myself every time I put it on that I should have bought it way sooner and ask myself my I waited so long it seriously is so pretty and amazing enough said .. Go get it don't wait ..

Mani Monday : Formula X "Radical"

It has been a few weeks since I had time or even felt the need to paint my nails... Crazy I know! normally I paint my nails at least twice a week but , that was the old me and the new " mommy" me hardly has time or energy to do so.  

I really love the formula x polishes from sephora i love the packaging I love the formula I love the diffrent colors and glitters, &  texture OH MY! ( wizard of oz voice)  I want to go crazy every time I look through the colors online or in store.

When I ordered this gorgeous shade of creamy light lavender from sephora I had to play with it right away it was to pretty to pass up and with it being spring and all why not! 

Perfect for spring right! I used two coats and topped it off with essie top coat and was good to go. Now to just update my spring/ summer wardrobe with pretty shades like this and ill be a happy momma.

Mani Monday : valentine red

Since it's the week of valentines I thought if paint my nails red. It used to be the only color polish I owned untill I recovered the wonderful world beauty. 

I used two coats of this gorgeous shiny red by butter London called knees up this color is so pretty the picture doesn't do it justice . 

As my accent nails I used formula x by sephora in chaotic (pointer finger)  and 

Wham! (Middle finger) I really love these glitters and want to get more of these polishes

January Favorites

I always love seeing others monthly favorites on blogs and YouTube its a great way to learn about new products and try something new, here are a few of my favorites from January

 

 

 

obviously number one is the NAKED 3  and it does not disappoint  I love urban decay shadows and this new palette is so gorgeous

 

TOO FACED BULLETPROOF BROWS  I am in love with this brow product! its amazing and that's all there is too it! it comes with a great double ended brush and keeps your brows looking great all day long.

 

URBAN DECAY REVOLUTION LIPSTICKS I seriously don't know why it has taken me so long to get these lipsticks and why I don't have every single color!  I have two shades from this line SHAME  & NAKED ...naked is the perfect my lips but better color  and shame is a to die for deep berry color and last all day.

 



 The POREfessional from Benefit I have been wanting to try this for soooooo long and I was able to get a sample size from ulta and I have to say I have really been liking this primer I use it on top of the benefit stay flawless primer and under my Revlon color stay foundation

 

CLINIQUE HAPPY PERFUME I got a mini bottle of this and it smells so good I'm really sad it was just a mini bottle.

 

NAILS INC. polish in Porchester Square | New  this polish lasts sooo long on my nails and I love it! if you would like to see my review head on over to Mani Mondays and read all about it

 

Maybelline super stay concealer  I have had some nasty little break outs this month  and this has really helped with covering those bad little boys up..      

KINSLEY'S FAVES

wubba nub she is loving her little lamb Binky  and tried to grab and eat it while she's in the car seat and she is loving this pink teddy  she can really get a good grip on it and hold it  and of course try to eat it .

DIAMOND RING RATTLE we got this at her baby shower and she loves it! its easy for her to get a hold of and of course its super cute  it has cute little shapes inside the diamond and she likes looking at them and the sounds it makes ..

the night you were born book is one of our faves I don't know what it is about this book but she loves the duck page for some reason :)  but this is such a cute book and has beautiful words that makes me want to cry every time I read it

BURTS BEES LOTION I was looking for a good lotion that was unscented for her face and decided to try this .. I use it after bath time and have been using it all over  it has been really helping with her dry skin

HEADBANDS  we have been loving all month long and we are getting quite the collection hence my etsy addiction  but there have been a few that we just love and cant stop buying from

Mani Mondays: formula x Torque

Its Mani Monday again and I had a little time while kins took a great nap whoo hoo! I recently purchased this gorgeous polish from Sephora  from the formula x line in the color Torque.  its a pretty metallic toupe color that goes on so smooth. With all metallic it can show any little imperfection on the nail so I used Essie fill the gap base coat and nails inc. gel effect top coat.

I love this polish and the formula x line from Sephora they have such amazing colors and great glitters that are so different. I have a serious nail polish collection and I really wanna get more of these polishes even thou I have every color under the sun. until I make a trip to the mall I will just be in love with this one ..

Mani Mondays: Nails Inc, GEL effects polish ..

Hi my name is Shannon and I'm a nail polish junkie! now that I have that out of the way I have been wanting to try the NAILS INC GEL EFFECT POLISH for a while now and I needed to keep my vib status from sephora for another year (because I have to that's why)  and thought it was the perfect time to pick up this polish and give it a go. I got the color in  PORCHESTER SQUARE a gorgeous grey toned nude 

Sephora describes it as : "A gel effect polish that delivers a plumping effect for glossy, salon-quality nails. This polish provides a high shine, super glossy finish without the need of a UV lamp or professional removal process. Gel Effect polish contains the same plumping technology as a salon gel manicure and lets you create the same look at home with ease. Formulated with revolutionary plasticiser technology, Gel Effect polish creates a gloss like you have never experienced before with standard nail polish. "

I applied two coats on top of Essie fill the gap base coat and let me just say even with one coat it looks amazing but I'm a two coat kinda girl and I wanted to truly test this polish out and didn't add a top coat .. on the Sephora site it says to "Apply one coat of Kensington Caviar base coat followed by two coats of your chosen Gel Effect polish.

-Finish with one coat of Kensington Caviar 45 Second top coat." for their suggested use I do have the top coat but wanted to see how this would do with out it ...

my polish usually chips / peels/ the very next day even with a top coat and usually looks nasty by day 3 so I have to start all over and with having a new baby "ain't no body got time for that " I'm lucky if I can brush my teeth some days let alone paint my nails   this polish has lasted me up to 5 days!! that's right 5 days with no top coat!  I'm so happy with this polish  that  want more! they offer 3 other colors in this collection a red and purple and a berry color I wish there was more of a variety but this polish is amazing I cant wait to see how long it lasts with a top coat .  

I could have gotten more days out of this polish it was day 5 and finally starting to chip and I had some free time while the hubby watched football and played with baby I thought I'd better take advantage and change it up. But so far I defiantly recommend this polish.
