mani monday: Essie Penny Talk

I cannot count how many times I have passed this polish up and I honestly do not know why I ever did. I finally picked it up at target and kept it in my cart.

As with all metallic polishes it picks up every little imperfection in your nails . I used my trusty FILL THE GAP  base coat from Essie then two coats of PENNY TALK  then GOOD TO GO top coat , I love this top coat it dries super fast.

Penny Talk is such a gorgeous rose gold metallic polish that is a must have for any polish addict. the only thing I didn't like about this polish is that it does chip easy, maybe if you only apply one coat it won't chip as fast ,but this polish is really just to pretty to pass up.

Mani Monday : Essie find me an oasis

I have been looking everywhere for the new spring Essie polishes and target finally got them in. I only picked up two because I have a whole drawer  full of polish I need to purge.

Find me an oasis is a creamy light blue polish that almost looks white at times.
There was some streaking going on as with most essie polishes but the second coat was a lot better.

I'm really loving this color for spring

Mani Monday : valentine red

Since it's the week of valentines I thought if paint my nails red. It used to be the only color polish I owned untill I recovered the wonderful world beauty.

I used two coats of this gorgeous shiny red by butter London called knees up this color is so pretty the picture doesn't do it justice .

As my accent nails I used formula x by sephora in chaotic (pointer finger)  and
Wham! (Middle finger) I really love these glitters and want to get more of these polishes

Hope you enjoy your Monday!

Mani Monday : Opi Love.angel.music.baby

When I saw opi was going to come out with a Gwen Stefani line I almost died I love everything and anything Gwen and Gwen + nail polish = heaven.

I finally had a chance to go to Ulta this weekend and check them out and I have to say I wasnt that impressed with the collection there was only two that really caught my eye this one and the silver mirror Chrome one and that one didn't look that great either and I already have a silver matallic chrome polish in my collection so I skipped out in that and just bought the Love.Angel.Music.Baby color.

This is a shimmery light gold champagne color that is made to be worn without a top coat. When  dried it it looked like a matte shimmer polish almost like a frosted shimmer.. It looks like it would have a textured finish to it but it doesn't do if your not into the whole textured/ liquid sand type polish this would be great for you to try.

I used essie fill the gap base coat and two coats of opi love angel music baby  polish with no top cost . It seems to be lasting pretty good for not having a top coat I do have a few chips but is holding up really good

I'm not sure if I will pick up any more from this collection I have so many polishes and I seem to have similar colors already .. I thought about getting the red over and over a Gwen polish in the special packaging but thought do I really need this in my life just because of the special packaging & I'm very proud if myself for not giving in and buying it ..
