Easter Basket Goodies

I thought I would share some of Kinsley's Easter basket goodies with you all because there is still a little time before that darn bunny comes hopping down the bunny trail and your scrambling down the Easter aisles in a frantic mode grabbing any anything that will fit in to a plastic egg.

Kins doesn't eat candy so it's always interesting to see what I can shove in a plastic egg, of course there's always bunny shaped fruit snacks, crackers & cookies from Annies snacks but I wanted to put some fun stuff I knew she would love in her  basket, even though at this age she'd be perfectly happy with just those plastic egg.

We can never get enough books over here and we have grown quite the collection but I recently have been wanting to collect all the old school little golden books that I remember as a kid. I think the color kittens was my fave.

Like i said little egg fillers are always interesting with no candy you can never go wrong with some pretend make up and jewelry . I also found these mickey & friends finger puppets at the Disney store and put them in the larger eggs.  I picked up this Mrs potato head because kinsie doesn't have one surprisingly and every time she see one she loves to play with it.  I had got her some little play doh stampers  and already gave them to her in desperate need of a distraction and then replaced them in her basket with color bubbles which I do NOT recommend for toddlers. its very messy even when you play them outside..

Fun headbands are always a must for stockings/ baskets and this one from baby jules boutique on etsy Is a Easter must have esp with a fun unicorn friend to go with it.

I hope this gave you some last minute inspiration for some candy free baskets & hope all your littles have a hoppy Easter!

Kinsleys easter basket

It seems like just last week I was making kinsleys first easter basket and now here Iam getting her second one ready.

I tried going with a theme but that all went out the window as I picked up more and more things but over all I'm loving it and I hope she does to .

We love anything with flamingos so when i found this little cutie on amazon i had to get it for her easter basket! who doesn't love a flamingo with bunny easter!

Of course theres bubbles  and glitter bracelets thrown in there for obvious reasons but when i seen this adorable Flamingo bracelet from sloan & co i had to get it! flamingos & bracelets! its the perfect mix for her basket. and this chunky necklace set from our fave the glitter revival is a must! kins loves to wear these all the time so a cute bunny one for easter is perf!
Kinsley loves to play with the little people and has a whole basket full of them already but we didnt have this Belle set and so i picked that up from target. Before i left Henderson i stopped by barns & noble since there isn't one in my town and got this adorable bunnies for tea book! i have already read it to her a few times and its so cute! i also found these rubber duckies set at target in the easter section and instead of candy i thought these bunny cookies are cute to put in one of her eggs we love eating these for snack time and the fact that they are bunnies was a given for easter!

Hoppy Easter!

Here comes peter cotton tail

Easter is on it's way and I'm so excited! I have always loved the holidays and getting together with family but I'm loving them so much more now that little Kinsey is here with us.

We are going to have Easter at my Nana's and if course an Easter egg hunt so I picked up a few things to fill the eggs

Plastic eggs of course and some peeps are a Easter must have  along with jelly beans and Hersey's kisses ( which have already been broken into)  I thought id add some Bugs and bouncy balls and some pretty necklaces for my little niece. Of course we will put some $$$ in the golden egg.

I found this cute photo booth prop kit that I thought would be super fun and different . My sister loves to take pictures so I thought we could have fun with this plus it was only $5!

I have been adding a few Easter touches around the house just to spice things up a bit not that Kinsley understand or knows what any if it is but it's fun anyways.

I added a few last minute touches to Kinsley's Easter basket with these Easter teethers and of course an adorable headband  and flower clip from willow crowns

I picked up this adorable cobalt blue lace dress from target it thought would be perfect and some pretty nail polish from Essie in the color big spender I'm obsessed with radiant orchid right now ! Also this pretty floral head band from of course willow crowns & Kindly has one to match.

And ... Little miss kinsie's baby gap dress

Let's not forget this adorbs bunny outfit from target

And this cute bunny shirt from baby gap! They also have a dress :)

Hope you all have a happy Easter

Baby's First Easter Basket

Holidays are so much more fun now that we have little Kinsie and Easter is almost here and I have been having fun putting together her basket . With Christmas it was a little different because she was so little but now that she is almost 6 months old & more active I have been stocking up in Easter goodies .

I got her basket from POTTERY BARN KIDS and thought it was worth the splurge as she can use it for more than just one year.

Almost all her goodies are from ( big surprise ) Target gotta love the dollar section. the slippers were too cute to pass up and the finding nemo balls were on Clarence . I found this adorable ballerina bunny from home goods  and had to get it. I also wanted to get her a few books so I ordered " happy Easter mouse" which I have already been reading to her and "The Velveteen Rabbit".

I know she's really to young to even know what's going on but I can't help but get excited. When I was little my grandma would always decorate her windows with holiday appropriate remove able stickers & I can't wait to decorate for holidays for her so that she can have fun memories.
