Kinsley Elizabeth: 14 months

I was going back and forth on keeping up with these updates for Kinsley but figured since I have a lot of family and friends that live out of state and being that we are away from home as well it would be good to keep them going for them..

This sweet funny loving girl is 14 months old and growing and changing so much. I can see her really starting to understand simple things like throw this away or get me a diaper, bring me your doll.. She loves to "help me" in the kitchen and takes out all the pots and pans and tries to sit in them. She still is obsessed with baby dolls and I see her patting them on the back and giving them lovies, trying to put diapers on them and I know she will be a great mommy someday just by the way she loves her babies. She is always getting into something she loves books and has a new love of big block Legos and her shopping cart. Her love for Mickey Mouse is still going strong but also enjoys Sophia the first and sheriff Callie and sometimes even laughs out loud while watching them.
She was pretty much sleeping through the night but since coming to Henderson she has been waking up at least twice every night and not taking her afternoon nap she'd rather play tea party or dress up and play with her babies. She also loves cars and makes vroom vroom noises and got so excited yesterday when she saw a big fire truck while we were at a stop light.

She loves to sing patty cake and wheels on the bus and itsy bittsy spider and even dances around in circles and tried to do the hand movements.

Some of her new words:
Roll
Ears
Oh wow
Whoa
Sit
Ish (fish)
Anta (Santa)
Ice (eyes)
Cheese
Burp
Tickle tickle

She is so smart and loves to point out her ears and her button (belly button) and is learning where her eyes and nose and mouth are.  And let's us know when she is thirsty by going to the refrigerator and yells BA!!! Lol
She can be so sweet and loving giving us big hugs and a million kisses but when she's mad or doesn't want something she doesn't shy away from letting you know.
She loves to eat rice and beans and strawberries she will eat chicken strips or nuggets but that's about it in the meat dept. she's a fruit and veggie girl and will kill a bowl of pasta. We just started giving her diluted juice and it took her a day or so to get used to the different taste but she loves some her apple juice.

Watching her learn and grow and becoming her own little person is so fun and I love every minute of her even when she makes me want to pull my hair out because even in those moments all I can do is thank good for giving me the gift of being her mama. She is more than I ever dreamed of.

I love you my sweet keeks and can't wait to take you to Mickey mouses house and hope you have an amazing Christmas this year. You are my sunshine  you help me get through the Crazy days with just a smile or laugh. And there's nothing I want more in this life than to see you happy and never lose that beautiful fun loving diva spirit you have.

Xo,
