Operation first birthday

When you get pregnate with your first baby EVERYONE tells you enjoy this time they grow so fast, it will go by in the blink of an eye! And honestly .... It does! All I can here is Trace Atkins singing " your gonna miss this" over and over in my head.  And so .. With a heavy sigh operation first birthday has commenced. 

I would rather just use all this money on decorations and food and go to Disneyland but, my husband says that not going to happen and we have to have a party so with that here are a few things I've been "pinning" and putting together to celebrate surviving our first year aka Kinsley first birthday .. 

I got these letters at micheals craft store and put modge podge on and poured gold glitter on them .. First off.. I should have bought spray glitter .. And second never ever do a glitter project in the wind.. Ever!

Oops! 

I found these cute paper bows in the scrap book section at target and thought they would be so cute there are 12 bows in a pack .. 

I was going for a pink ombre / gold glitter theme but anyone who knows me, knows I can't stay away from black and white patterns .. Throw it in with pink and gold and I thought it was very Kate spade-ish .. 

I'll probably serve up some chicken salad Sammie's and pink punch of course. I also bought some cute paper crowns to wear and some tassel garlands and pom poms to hang you know the obvious stuff hopefully everything I have pinned ( thank God for pintrest) and brainstormed can come to life and we can have a great birthday for our little love.
