Spring cleaning

I have been bitten by the spring cleaning bug and it has me itching to declutter everything and get more organized with all the baby stuff and toys that is taking over my house. 

It all started with new curtains to help brighten up the living room which is pretty much black and white everything  so I picked up these grey ombré curtains from target and it does bring more light into the room it doesn't bring much color so I'm working on finding  a few pieces to help with that and a new lamp shade is at the top of my list  and some "toy boxes" to help keep these toys from being all over the place . 

On to the kitchen,  our refrigerator broke so that was not a fun purchase but it is a nicer one that what we had and let's face it looks a lot better and matches the microwave and dishwasher now if I can get my hubby to paint the cabinets 😁 

I picked up some threshold shelves at target that were on sale and put a few things I already had on them but I printed out this cute picture from PSPRINTABLES  on Etsy and found this cute gold and purple flowers from the Clarence section at target 

I was on a massive hunt for a cute framed chalk board for our kitchen and found this one for only $24 at home goods it's not what I had pictured in my mind but it will work and I couldn't pass up that price. 

On to the bed room and this is the room that needs the most help because we still have not painted it since we moved in 2 1/2 years ago!!! I am bound and determined to buy paint and paint it myself next week! But I found the cutest picture from sugarboo designs at target  I had seen her I love you print and had to get this adore you one for our room 

There's not much to be done in the bathroom it's super tiny  but I picked up two beyond cute towels from nate burkus in a mint color that go so good with my black and white striped shower curtain and I used a jar had had just collecting dust and put my lush bubble bars and bath bombs in it and I love the way it looks next to my candle. 

There is so much more work that I want / need to do and I'm itching to have a ikea trip and want to totally re do Kinsley's room lol  hopefully I will win the lottery and have some fabulous home decorator come and fix everything but until then little by little I will whip this house into shape and out of its black and white slump don't get me wrong I love all things black and white but I just need a little color in my life.
